ETEREAUTY 4 IN 1 FACIAL BRUSH REVIEWED BY JAMIE

I have been using my Etereauty face brush for a few months now and I absolutely love it. It may come as a surprise to some but I use it more than my clarisonic mia which cost me nearly 10 times as much and here is why:

1.  It includes multiple brush options and has 2 speeds.

2.  The size of the brush head is much smaller which allows me to clean smaller areas of my face such as around my eyes, nose, and lips with more precision.

3.  After having had over 10 skin graft surgeries on my face after getting burned a few years ago my facial skin is much more delicate than it used to be and the soft brushes included with this set are perfect for cleaning my face without damaging my skin or causing pain.

4.  The silicone brush works well for gentle cleansing and applying creams and serums to my face.

5.  The transparent and bristle brush is soft and gentle enough for daily cleansing while the firmer pink and white brush head is excellent for exfoliating and deep cleaning my skin.

6.  The pumice stone pad does an excellent job at smoothing away rough skin on my heels and elbows.

7.  It is quiet and discreet.

8.  It cost a fraction of what my clarisonic mia did and works just as well if not better.

I wanted to use this product for a few months first before I shared my review of it here in order to give it time to see how well it worked and if I liked it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants an ultrasonic face cleaning brush that does a great job, without spending $125.00 or more. The only thing I wish this brush had that it doesn't is a rechargeable battery. Instead it does take 2 AA batteries, so I purchased rechargeable ones to use in mine. WEE DEE Water Bottle Pump Review

I recently ordered this water bottle pump from Wee Dee to have on hand for the upcoming hurricane season. I usually purchase a number of the large 5 gallon bottles of water to have on hand in case of an emergency like a hurricane or some other natural disaster, but they are extremely heavy and difficult to pour from unless you have one of those expensive automatic water cooler dispensers to use them with. I don't have one of those and I'm not really interested in getting one for emergency use only, so this pump seemed like an inexpensive and compact solution that I could easily store away inside my  hurricane/emergency tote box. I generally keep a large plastic tote box packed year round with supplies that would be useful in an emergency like batteries, flashlights, first aid kit,  a radio,  and now this water bottle pump. It comes with the pump itself, a food grade silicone tube which you connect to the bottom of the pump and drop down into the bottle of water and a stainless steel tube which dispenses the water that you connect to the top of the pump. Wee Dee Water Bottle Pump
The best part is that this is not a manual water pump it has a rechargeable battery inside which powers the pump. The also include a USB charging cable which you simply connect to any USB wall or car charger to recharge. It will fully charge in 3 - 4 hours and one charge generally lasts about 30 days and will fully pump 4-5 5 gallon bottles of water before it requires recharging. Simply press the button on the top to dispense the water. If you press once and release it will dispense .16 of a gallon and if you hold the button for 3 seconds and release it will dispense water continuously until you press the button again to stop it.
It's completely portable and easy enough for children and the elderly to operate. Despite having purchased it for use during an emergency I can see it coming in handy at large family picnics or reunions. If you would like to purchase one for your family it is currently only $12.79 on Amazon and can be found at the following link:  Wee Dee Water Bottle Pump

Rockbirds Mosquito Zapper Review

I got this mosquito zapper because we do a lot of camping in the fall and I hate fighting off the mosquitos. We usually rent a small primitive cabin near the river and while it is very peaceful and quiet there also tends to be some really huge mosquitoes down by the water as well. I used this in our cabin and it did a great job at killing any mosquitoes that made it inside the cabin so that we weren't getting bitten all night long. Thanks to this RockBirds Mosquito Zapper, I am now a happy camper! If you are interested in purchasing one of these zappers for your family you can find it on Amazon at: RockBirds Mosquito Zapper

Metecsmart 20, 000 Portable Powerbank Review

During a recent power outage we  used a few of the portable power banks we own to provide us with light to see by, keep our cell phones charged, and to run some smaller personal sized fans.  It was a sobering reminder of not only how reliant we have come to be on electricity and the comforts that it provides, while at the same time highlighting just how useful these portable power banks can be.  After using them during our 2 day power outage, I decided we needed another power bank on hand for such emergencies.  I chose this one from Metecsmart  because at 20,000mah it had twice the battery capacity of the largest power bank we had and with two simultaneous Quick Charge 3.0 outlets it would allow us to charge up both of our smartphones approximately 5 times each at  speeds up to 4x faster.  One of the main things to remember when purchasing a power bank is to make a sure you get one which has enough capacity to charge the devices you want to charge,  for example our cell phone batteries are 1800mah each and with a 20,000mah portable charger like this Metecsmart one  we should get around 5 charges for each phone. It is also important to make sure that the outputs on it are compatible with the devices you would like to charger, for example I once had a tablet that required a 2.4 amp charger and it would not charge the battery with anything lower than that connected. The best power banks will usually incorporate smart chip technology which is designed to read the requirements of the device being charged and adjust their output accordingly.  Because these power banks and the devices used with them typically contain lithium batteries it's also a good idea to get one of the better ones which have built in protection circuits to prevent the batteries from overheating and catching on fire. This one from Metecsmart offers that protection along with some other protection features which are designed to enhance the longevity of its batteries. Take a look at the next image for more specifics on the protection features of the  Metecsmart power bank:

We have used this power pack a few times now and have been more than satisfied with its performance. If you are interested in purchasing one you can get it here:  Metecsmart 20,000mah Power Bank

Orblue Dual Sided Spatula Review

I love silicone spatulas, they are wonderful for getting every last bit of cupcake or cookie batter out of the bowl and virtually nothing sticks to them. They cleanup wonderfully as well. The main issue that I have had with many silicone spatulas is that they are usually made with either a wooden or plastic handle and have a tendency to come apart after I've had them for a while. This one from ORBLUE is completely encased in silicone which ensures that it will not come apart no matter how many times I wash it. This particular one is great also because it has one end which is more spoon shaped and that side is perfect for scooping small balls of cookie batter out of the bowl when I'm baking. It has become my go to spatula anytime I'm baking.  If you are interested in purchasing one for your kitchen you can find it at my link below on Walmart.com. AKEKIO 10,000 MAH Power Bank Review

As a busy woman who is almost constantly on the go I love power banks because they give me the flexibility to keep my devices charged on the go.  There is nothing worse than needing to make a call or search for directions only to find your phone dead with no way to charge it.  Power banks eliminate this issue and so much more.  I recently purchased this one knowing that I was going to be at the hospital with a friend who was having surgery.  I chose this particular power bank because it had a 10, 000 mah battery capacity which is enough to charge most smartphones approximately 3 times and most tablets twice.  This one has both micro USB (Android) and lightning (Apple) charging cables built right into it which eliminates the need to carry additional charging cables with me.  In this case the built in cables were one of the prime selling points for me because I knew that I would have both my phone and an IPad with me at the hospital and this power bank would be able to handle charging them both.  It weighs just 7.8 ounces, measures 5.7 x 3.1 x 0.5 inches, and has really cute design on it too.  It also has an additional USB port which can be used along with a USB C cable to support charging of devices which use the newer USB C chargers.  Once the power bank is empty it can be recharged using a standard micro USB charger (2A recommended).  Recharging the power bank from empty takes 4 to 4.5 hours.  I have been using it for about a month now and I love mine.  If you are interested in purchasing one of these power banks they are available on Amazon.com and currently priced at $20.99 just click on this link: AKEKIO Power Bank

ORBLUE Pasta Measure Review

I buy pasta in bulk and display it in jars on the top of my kitchen cabinets as a decorative element. I use a pasta measurer to help me quickly and easily get exactly the number of portions that I need to cook for that meal. This measurer I purchased from ORBLUE, is made of durable, rust proof stainless steel rather than plastic which is often flimsy, easily broken, and prone to melting in the dishwasher. I absolutely adore its flat design which doesn't take up tons of space in my kitchen drawers or get tangled up with other utensils. It  has a hole on one end for easy hanging and it also sticks nicely to one of those magnetic bars that are made for hanging knifes.
